From Russia With Sound Vol.2

October 11-th. House music fans are waiting for new release from Ivan Roudyk and Electrica/Diamond labels, second release in the series “From Russia With Sound”. As before the basic idea of compilation are the tracks which have been written and produced in Russia and neighboring countries. The success of the first release in the series has surpassed even the most courageous forecasts of the publishers and distributors. The sound of domestic house-producers has appeared to be extremely demanded among listeners and DJs. Tracks for the second collection have been carefully selected by Ivan Roudyk from several hundred demos which have come to his address after the announcement of open competition. For a few months Ivan listened gigabytes of music material and has collected the compilation which by tradition is presented in a form of DJ a mix. In opinion of artists presented at “From Russia With Sound Vol.2” similar projects are good not only as local promotion - they show the general level of Russian dance music scene. The important role is played also with association between talented but unknown producers from regions, the superstar DJ and dynamically developing labels. The similar community information interchange is very important for development of new acts, performers and as cultural direction too. The sound of the compilation can be labeled as electro-house. However, in comparison with the first release the scale of styles is more various. «We have found the balance in our track between progressive house and trance melody, thanks for a good advice to our colleagues from Etiket, -says Evgenie Svalov, the founder of 4Mal project and the co-author of the final track of the compilation, - by reaction of the domestic and foreign DJs, such synthesis has suited their taste and this pleases us much».
